Similar resignation to the end, always the finish
And so when we found that nosotros could non brand sense

But I'll acknowledge that I was glad information technology was over
Only you didn't accept to cut me off
Make out similar it never happened and that we were aught
And I don't fifty-fifty need your dearest
But yous treat me like a stranger and I experience so rough
No you didn't have to stoop so low

Now you're merely somebody that I used to know
Now you're simply somebody that I used to know
Now yous're merely somebody that I used to know
[Kimbra:]
Now and then I call back of all the times you screwed me over
Part of me believing it was always something that I'd done
Just I don't wanna live that way
Reading into every word you say
You said that y'all could let information technology go
And I wouldn't catch you hung upwards on somebody that you used to know
[Gotye:]
Only yous didn't have to cut me off
Make out similar information technology never happened and that we were nothing
